NEW LANGOLEE [2]. AKA and see "Lango Lee (1)," "Lango Lee New Way," "Patrick Sarsfield." English, Country Dance Tune (6/8 time). A Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The title is given in London publishers Longman, Lukey & Broderip's Bride's Favourite Collection of 200 Select Country Dances, Cotillons (1776, part 3, p. 90), and in Charles and Samuel Thompson's Compleat Collection..., vol. 4 (1780), as "Patrick Sarsfield, or The New Lango Lee."
