MICKIE MURPHY{'S JIG} (Port Mhicí Uí Mhurchú). Irish, Scottish; Single Jig. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB'. The tune is a perhaps an islolate of the large and varied "Kinloch of Kinloch" tune family, distinctive by the cadential See also the related tunes "Yellow John (1)" or "Seán Buidhe/Seán Buí." Scots variants include "Over the Water to Charlie" and "Kinloch of Kinloch."
