NIEL GOW'S FAVORITE. AKA and see "Athole Brose," "Buckingham House." See also spellings "Neil" and "Neal." The tune has often been attributed to Niel Gow because of the title, although it was never claimed by him. It was in fact the composition of biography:Abraham Mackintosh who titled it "Buckingham House."
