NORWAY SCHOTTISCHE. American, Schottische. The title appears in a repertoire list of Maine fiddler Mellie Dunham. The elderly Dunham was Henry Ford's champion fiddler in the late 1920's. Bronner (1987) says the tune was apparently written by Dunham (b. 1853), who lived his life in Norway, Maine.
