NO POWER ON EARTH CAN E'ER DIVIDE. AKA and see "Irish Howl." English, Air. "No power on earth can e'er divide" is a song set to the tune "Irish Howl" in John Gay's Beggar's Opera of 1729. It also can be found in the third volume of the Dancing Master (c. 1726), published in London by John Young, heir to the Playford publishing concerns.
