AKA - "The Trip to Parliament." Irish, Reel. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB (Tubridy): AABB (Breathnach, Harker/Rafferty). The title "O'Connell's Trip to Parliament" is what Breathnach's source, fiddler Owen Kelly (Co. Tyrone) called the tune. It is a member of the tune family that includes "Sporting Days of Easter (1) (The)."
