BATCHELOR'S BUTTON. English, Country Dance Tune (2/4 time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The Bachelor's Button was a token baked into a Christmas pudding. The custom was that, if a single man found it, they would be a bachelor for the following year.
