OLD CONNEMARA STOCKINGS. AKA and see "Padraig O'Keeffe's Reel." Irish, Reel. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'B. A popular tune in the Sliabh Luachra region of Ireland, where it is often called "Quinn's Reel (1)," the name given it by County Kerry fiddler Padraig O'Keeffe who had the tune (and several others) from John Quinn, a flute player from Cordal. No relation to "Connemara Stockings."
