GRÁINNE'S JIG. AKA and see "Felix Kearney's," "Redican's Jig (1)," "Tommy Peoples' Jig." Irish, Jig. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'BB'CC'. The tune was composed by Donegal fiddler Tommy Peoples, named in honor of his daughter. Boston button accordionist Joe Derrane recorded an extremely similar two-part jig, "Papa's Joy," which he says he composed in the 1960's before he had ever heard Peoples' tune.
