OLD GRENADIER. AKA - "Grenadier's Return." English, March (cut time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The tune was well-established in use in the British army by the time it was adopted as the regimental march of the newly named Grenadier Guards in 1815, and is in military use today as a slow march for the ceremony of Trooping the Colour.
