OLD LAKE ERIE. AKA and see "Erie Extension (The)." American, Jig. USA, southwestern Pa. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. Bayard was not able to trace this tune, but thought it "seems plainly Irish or Scottish." There is nothing particularly distinctive or telling about its melodic character, however.
