OLD SOUTHERN WALTZ. AKA and see "Grace Waltz." American, Waltz. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'BB'. A tune by this name was in the repertoire of Maine fiddler Mellie Dunham. The elderly Dunham was Henry Ford's champion fiddler in the late 1920's. Apparently, however, it was originally called "Grace Waltz" (see note for that tune).
