OLD PEADAR CARTHY FROM CLONMORE. Irish, March (4/4 time). F Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). ABC. Clonmore is in Co. Carlow, and Darley & McCall identify Peadar (Peter) Carthy as a local celebrity. The third strain of the tune, a chorus, has these simple lyrics:
