OLD ROCKING CHAIR, THE. New England, Jig. A Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Composed by Ralph Page (1903-1985, New Hampshire), the "dean of the contra dance callers," and a seminal figure in New England traditional dance and music for 40 years [1].
Not Shetland fiddler Tom Anderson's similarly titled "Auld Restin' Chair (Da)."
