O'KELLY'S FANCY. AKA - "Kelly's Fancy." AKA and see "Ypsilanti Hornpipe." Irish, Hornpipe. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'BB. Recorded in 1954 on a 78 RPM Columbia disc by Paddy O'Brien (paired with "The Cuckoo"). Cognates are "Ypsilanti Hornpipe" in Ryan's Mammoth Collection (1883). Kerr's "Thames Hornpipe" shares the first strain with "O'Kelly's Fancy."
