BONNY GREEN GARTERS [2]. English, Morris Dance Tune (6/8 time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). One part. This version is from the village of Bampton, Oxfordshire, in England's Cotswolds and was used as a morris dancers' processional off the site of the dance at the end of a performance. It is commonly played preceding a tune from the village of Headington.
