BOAT MAN [8], THE. Scottish, Slow Air (4/4 time) and Jig. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABBCCDDEEFFGGHH (air and variations). The melody also appears in the 1840 music manuscript collection of multi-instrumentalist John Rook (Waverly, Cumbria).
