APPLES IN WINTER [2]. Irish, Jig. A Major (Hardebeck). Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB (Hardebeck, Kennedy): AABBCCDD (O'Farrell). Hardebeck's (1921) two-strain tune is cognate with the first two parts of O'Farrell's, save that the parts are reversed.
