OVER THE MOOR TO MAGGIE [3]. Scottish, Country Dance Tune (cut time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. A melody by this name is contained in the 1768 Gillespie Manuscript of Perth, but the earliest printing is in Alexander Stuart's Musick for Allan Ramsey's Collection of Scots Songs (Edinburgh, 1724).
