OVER THE ROAD TO MAYSVILLE [2]. Old-Time, Breakdown. A different tune than "Over the Road to Maysville (1)," and related to "Old Dubuque." Steven Green thinks the title refers to the old Lexington-Maysville turnpike. The tune was played by The Gully Jumpers on The Grand Old Opry, according to Kentucky fiddler Snake Chapman.
