OUR NATIVE HOME. Scottish, March (2/4 time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The composition is credited to D. Kippen by W.B. Laybourn (1835-1886) in Köhler's Violin Repository, Book One. Kippen is also credited with "Highland Polka" in one of James S. Kerr's collections. Kippen, of Crieff, Perthshire, also contributed music to Robert Ford's Vagabond Songs and Ballads of Scotland (1904).
