WALMER CASTLE. English, Country Dance Tune (2/4 time). B Flat Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABA. The tune dates to 1801. Built during the reign of King Henry VIII as part of England's coastal defenses, Walmer Castle [1] was convereted over the years to a country house and gardens.
