NEW FOUND OUT [1], THE. AKA and see "Aggie Whyte's Reel (2)," "Satin Slipper," "Seamus Connolly's Reel." Irish, Reel. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The tune was recorded in December, 1923, in New York by fiddle and accordion player Frank Quinn (as the second tune paired with "Tuohey's Favorite Reel", albeit both under the title "New Found Out"). Quinn is remembered by his family as a shy man, reticent to play publicly.
