WARRIOR’S GRAVE, THE. Scottish, Air. D Minor. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. The air was printed in J. Scott Skinner’s collections The Scottish Violinist (1900) and Harp and Claymore (1904). It was composed by Skinner, who characterized it as a “Wild Melody” in the Scottish Violinist (1900), and an “imitation of Welsh Melody” in the Harp and Claymore.
