WAMBLE MOUNTAIN RAMBLE. Old-Time, Breakdown. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. Stacy Phillips notes the name is a new one for an old tune. Wamble Mountain is a 942 ft. mountain peak near Eldorado, Illinois, in the range of the Missouri Ozarks foothills that stretch across several counties in Southern Illinois.
