PAT’S PARLOUR (Parlús Pheait). AKA and see “Green Jerseys (The).” Irish, Canadian; Jig. Canada, Cape Breton. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. A traditional tune listed by Kerr in his Irish jig section. Breathnach styles it a single jig in 12/8 time. A cognate piece, he finds, is a jig printed by Kerr (Fourth Collection) called “Auld Inn (The).”
