PEGGY'S WEDDING [1]. AKA - "Peggie's Wedding." English, Scottish; Jig. D Major (Kennedy, Raven): C Major (Athole, Gow). Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB (Gow): AABB (Athole, Kennedy, Raven). John Glen (1891) finds the earliest printing of this tune in Robert Bremner's 1757 collection; it also is contained in the 1768 [James] Gillespie Collection of Perth.
