PINT OF ALE, THE. Irish, Reel. G Major/Mixolydian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. The tune is descended from a country dance tune printed in London by John Walsh entitled "Collier's Daughter (The), AKA "Collier's Lass (The)" and "Duke of Rutland's Delight (The), which developed into the reel "Nine Point Coggie (1) (The)" AKA "Nine Pint Coggie" (although that title is also used for another tune).
