PIADMONTESE, LES. Scottish (?), Jig. B Flat Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). ABCD. In the original edition Gow placed the tune in a section called “Fashionable Dances in Edinr. 1787-88”. See also the similarly-named “Piedmontese Cotillion.”
