COUNTY DOWN [1]. AKA and see "Kitty in the Fog," "Kitten and the Frog (The)." Irish (originally), American; Jig. USA, southwestern Pa. A Dorian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'BB. Bayard (1981) identifies this as one of the tunes from an indistinct but probably Irish tune family that has incorporated a variety of usually floating titles. In southwestern Pa. it was known as a martial tune.
