MRS. STEWART FRENICH OF FOSS. AKA and see "Mrs. Bell's Strathspey." Scottish, Reel. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Composed by Malcolm MacDonald, this tune first appears in his Collection of Strathspey Reels, vol. 1, dedicated to Mrs. Baird of Newbyth. The melody, set as a strathspey ("Mrs. Bell's Strathspey") appears in James Aird's Selection of Scotch, English, Irish and Foreign Airs, vol. 5 (1801).
