IRISH SHANTRUSE. Irish (?), Slip Jig (9/8 time). B Flat Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. The title perhaps means that it is an Irish tune for a dance similar to Seann Triubhas, or Sean Trews, a Scottish dance performed in plaid trousers and not in kilts.
