Irish, Jig. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB (Darley& McCall): AA’BB’ (Moylan). Breathnach (1996) notes the tune as given in the Darley & McCall collection (originally called the Feis Ceoil Collection of Traditional Irish Music) is identical with that played nowadays, and he speculates that Séamus Ennis, who popularized it, or his father, picked it up from there.
