PIPER'S BONNET [1], THE. AKA - "Bonaid a' Phiobair." Scottish, Pipe Strathspey. A Mixolydian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB (Gatherer): ABCD (Glen, Logan, Martin). A 6/8 jig and march setting of the strathspey by piper David Glen appears in his Edinburgh Collection Part VI (No. 8, p. 6), and in a few other Highland pipe collections.
