WHEEL OF LIFE [3], THE. English, Country Dance Tune (2/4 time). A Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The tune was printed in John Hinton's Universal Magazine of Knowledge and Pleasure (Jan., 1759), Baldwin's The London Magazine, or Gentleman's Monthly Intelligencer (1762), and Charles and Samuel Thompson's Compleat Collection of 200 Favourite Country Dances, vol. 2 (1765, p. 18).
