POLISH POLKA. English, Polka (2/4 time). C Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABBCC. The tune appears in the Michael Turner manuscript, from c. 1841-1851, from southern England. It is related to “Liberton Pipe Band,” Jimmy Shand’s “Fiona’s Wedding” and, perhaps, “I Have a Bonnet Dressed in Blue.”
