POLLY ANN. AKA and see "Pretty Polly Ann" (?). Old-Time, Breakdown. USA, Alabama. In the repertory of Alabama fiddler Monkey Brown (1897-1972). It was also listed in the Northwest Alabamian of August 29, 1929, as one of the tunes likely to be played at an upcoming fiddlers' convention (Cauthen, 1990).
