PORT DÁLAIG [1]. Irish, Polka. Ireland, West Kerry. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. A composition (with “Port Dalaig” [2]) or favorite tune of Tom ‘na Hinise’ Ó Dálaig (Tom Daly, 1907-1989), a fiddler from Inishvickillane, Co. Kerry. Along with his brother (and accordion player) Muiris Ó Dálaig (1910-1990), the pair were the source for many of the tunes collected by Con Durham.
