BOWMAN'S FANCY. English, Jig. D Mixolydian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. The title may refer to English musician and composer Henry Bowman, about whom little is known. Bowman was an organist of Trinity College, Cambridge, and was active in the 1670's when he published some of his compositions.
