PRETTY MISS SALLY. English, Jig. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The melody was originally published in John Johnson’s Choice Collection of 200 Favourite Country Dances (London, 1751), apparently the source of many of the tunes in Charles and Samuel Thompson’s 1757 collection.
