WILD COLT, THE ("An Searrac Fiadain" or "An Bromach Fiadhain"). Irish, Slip Jig or Air. G Major (O'Neill): B Flat Major (Bunting). Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. O'Sullivan (1983) thinks there is "little doubt" the English title is the correct one and the Irish title a translation, though there are no words extent for the tune.

Source for notated version: the Irish collector Edward Bunting was given the piece by another collector, George Petrie, Dublin, in 1839.
