PUNCHINELLO [3]. English, Country Dance Tune (whole time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. This particular “Punchinello” tune (there were several bearing the name) is unique to London publisher Charles and Samuel Thompson’s 1765 country dance collection.
