PRINCE OF WALES MARCH [4]. AKA - "Prince of Wales's March." English, March ( time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The march appeared in several London music publications simultaneously around or just before the year 1770: Charles and Samuel Thompson's Thirty Favorite Marches, Book 2, Longman Lukey & Co.'s Compleat Instructions for the Fife, and Thomas Bennett's Compleat Tutor for the Fife (c. 1767). In America, it was printed by George Willig in Compleat Tutor for the Fife (Philadelphia, 1805).
