WILT THOU BE MY DEARIE. Scottish, Air (2/4 or whole time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). Glen (1891) states that this tune is derived from "Suttor's Daughter." The song was printed in James Johnson's Scots Musical Museum, vol. 5 (1797, p. 484)
