RABBIT IN THE BRIAR PATCH. Old-Time. The tune was recorded in 1943 for the Library of Congress by musicologist/folklorist Vance Randolph (1892-1980) from fiddler Bill Bilyeu (pronounced 'Blue') of Day, Missouri.
