HOW HAPPY COULD I BE WITH EITHER. AKA and see "Have You Heard of a Frolicsome Ditty?" "Give Ear to a Frolicsome Ditty," "Rant (The)," "City Ramble (The)." English, Air (6/8 time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. The air appears in John Gay's Beggar's Opera of 1729 and the Bow Street Opera (1773), however it is a 17th century air to which a number of songs were sung (Kidson, 1922).
