BEDOU'S REEL (Reel a' Bedou). Canadian, Reel. Canada, Prince Edward Island. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Perlman's source, Robert Arsenault, learned this tune from a Magdeline Islands fiddler named Bedou. The Magdelines are about 75 miles north of eastern Prince Edward Island, in the Gulf of St. Lawrence.
