DOUG'S JIG. Canadian, Jig. Canada, Cape Breton. A Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB'. Composed by Cape Breton piano player and accompanist Margaret MacPhee (b. 1913, Broad Cove Banks, Inverness County), presumably in honor of her relative, Doug MacPhee, also a much sought-after Cape Breton piano soloist and accompanist.
