CLOG DE PARISEAU. French-Canadian, Clog (4/4 time). F Sharp Minor ('A' part) & A Major ('B' part). Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The melody was recorded on 78 RPM in 1928 by Montréal accordion great Alfred Montmarquette (1871-1944) accompanied by Adélard St-Jean (1890-1964). Hart & Sandell (2001) say it was named in honor of Montmarquette's fellow accordionist and long-time friend, Louis-Philippe Pariseau.
