ANDY RENWICK'S FERRET. The ferret of the title supposedly refers to a human being. Composer credits for this modern melody are usually attributed to piper Gordon Duncan (Craob Rua), although a United Kingdom musician named "Gordon Lincoln" is (erroneously) credited by Perlman.

Source for notated version: Paul MacDonald (b. 1974, Charlottetown, Queens County, Prince Edward Island) [Perlman].

Printed sources: Perlman (The Fiddle Music of Prince Edward Island), 1996; pg. 105.

Recorded sources: Lochshore CDLDL 1215, Craob Rua – "The More That's Said the Less the Better" (1992). Lochshore CD, Ian Powrie – "Legend of the Fiddle."
